HELP ME CHOOSE
Which IQAir is Right For Me?
Choose Your Main Area Of Concern:
Medical and Hospital
Air quality in medical facilities is a critical factor, as these environments need a level of cleanliness far beyond human perception. Any airborne bacteria or virus could infect patients and professionals, resulting in cross-infection complications (commonly known as Hospital Acquired Infection). Concern over indoor air quality in these environments is increasing as microbiology and infection control departments are aware that a significant percentage of all hospital acquired infections are airborne.
The best way to provide clean, fresh air to hospitals and medical rooms, often deprived of effective off-gassing or ventilation systems (due to traffic pollution and ambient air temperature) is to purify the air inside and with equipment that operates in several fronts, thus dealing with a wide range of contaminants.
There should exist a central air filtration system with a combination of electrostatic precipitation - HEPA and UV - to remove large particulates like dust, mold, dander, pollen, fibers, fungus and viruses. But air cleaners should also be able to remove contaminants such as VOCs, CACs or micro-organisms, and destroy harmful contaminants released during medical procedures. Some of these air contaminants may not be particularly damaging in a public environment yet must be removed from medical areas where sensitive procedures re performed and patients with health problems are kept.
IQAir Recommended Models
IQAir medical air purifiers were specifically designed for hospitals (ICU, maternity, mortuary), dentists, clinics, various healthcare settings and labs. Along with the models suggested below, the IQAIR Dental Series is equally effective in guaranteeing air quality in medical offices (see Dental Environments).
IQAir Cleanroom Series
A line of advanced air cleaning systems designed specifically for the removal of solid and liquid airborne particles. The Cleanroom H13 in the IQAir Cleanroom Series is used in hospitals and is specially designed for such things as infection control.
IQAir GC Series
The lQAir GC series is effective in guaranteeing air quality in all medical offices as it features a specialized line of advanced air cleaning devices that meets almost any gas phase removal need in residential commercial or medical environments. Since different gaseous contaminants can only be effectively removed with specialized gas phase media, the IQAir GC series is available in a range of special configurations.
IQAir GCX Series
The IQAir GCX series is engineered to provide maximum removal efficiency for gaseous contaminants and odors. These compact high-performance air cleaning devices can easily be customized to meet almost any gas phase removal need, whether in hospitals, laboratories, commercial or light industrial environments. The ability to choose which Gas Phase filter is installed in the IQAir GCX unit provides the user with a solution that is tailored to their requirements.
IQAir CleanZone H13
Specially designed for infection control units, TB isolation rooms, critical particle control, use in cleanrooms up to Class 100. The IQair Cleanroom H13 is a medical grade HEPA Air Purifier that has been designed specifically for filtration of microorganisms and other airborne particles. The units double function as a clean air micro-environment and particle extraction hood. Applications include medical and pharmaceutical laboratories, school and university science departments, military installations and biohazard control units, government institutions and mail rooms in sensitive environments.
