How Much Space Does One IQAir Cover?

IQAir Health Pro Series will cover between 40 square meters and up to 380 square meters. IQAir units are designed with 6 variable fan speeds, so whether you sleep in a small bedroom or have a large office to cover, IQAir will give you the correct number of air exchanges for the appropriate room size.

Most homes and offices will settle on an average IQAir fan speed of 3 or 4—covering 150 cu. meters to 200 cu. meters (about 75 to 100 sq. meters). Villas in Beijing and Shanghai may have very high ceilings, so you need to be able to think in terms of cubic meters and not square meters when dealing with larger rooms. One of our sales consultants can help you determine what fan speed to run your unit at.

How do I know it’s working well?

Your IQAir unit is designed to work 24/7 and 365 days a year. All other air cleaners will lose efficiently every day they are running and may have lost all efficiency by the time a new filter change is scheduled. However, with IQAir, you will actually gain in efficiency the longer you run the unit. The IQAir filtration system is engineered so well that its ability to stop particulates improves as the filters load up. Filter changes are not needed to restore efficiency, but filter changes are scheduled because as the filters load up with dirt, they will drop in their air flow rate.

If you are concerned with the performance of your unit, we are glad to schedule an air quality test periodically to demonstrate to you that your IQAir has continued to maintain peak performance the next week, month or even year after your purchase. In fact, here in Beijing, we have a number of hospitals that purchased units back during the deadly SARS crisis of 2002-2003. When we first reconnected with these hospitals in 2007, the vast majority of these units had never had a filter changed and continued to perform at greater than 99.97% efficiency—it is absolutely amazing for an air cleaner to do that!

Where should I put my IQAir?

IQAir air cleaners are designed to become a part of your day to day life, without interfering with it. We suggest you place your IQAir in the work or living spaces where you spend most of your time—this typically means each occupied bedroom, your living room and your office. With the pollution so bad in most major Chinese cities, an IQAir in your bedroom is the least you should be doing to protect the health of you and your family. An additional IQAir in your office would mean that you could be breathing clean healthy air during more than 70% of your day.

How do I use the programmable timer feature on my IQAir?

Setting the timer is easy and a very good way to extend the life of your filters. Each filter is independently timed down to the hour of useable life and the timer feature allows you to program your IQAir to work with your schedule. While most people choose to run their IQAir’s 24/7 in their homes or offices, you can take advantage of this unique feature to save time and costs.

The directions for setting the timer are found within your owner’s manual. In just a couple of easy steps you can have your IQAir turning on at 5:00 in the afternoon just before you get home from work and turning off at 8:00 in the morning once you have left for the office. We want you to get the most from your IQAir air purifier, so we are only a phone call or email away if you need help or assistance with any feature offered on your unit.

What if I refer IQAIR to my friend?

IQAir owners are the absolute best source of advertising for our product. Does IQAIR have a retail store in other cities?

IQAir units have been sold exclusively through our Villa Lifestyles outlets in Shanghai Qingpu and Shenzhen Shekou through in-home demonstrations.
