While domestic and commercial applications require the effective filtration of allergens, general pollution and tobacco smoke, the medical and laboratory applications for IQAir® systems often require high-efficiency filtration of even the tiniest highly infectious microorganisms (such as bacteria and viruses).

Particularly with highly infectious diseases in mind, INCEN AG has recognised that only the very best air filtration solutions will provide effective and reliable control of airborne microorganisms. For that reason INCEN AG advises its authorised IQAir® distribution partners to note the following:

1. 1. The IQAir® Allergen 100 and IQAir HealthPro® Series models are solely designed for general air cleaning purposes in domestic and commercial settings. They must not be used for critical infection control applications.
2. 2. For all critical airborne infection control applications in medical, laboratory and other professional settings only the IQAir® Cleanroom H13, Cleanroom 100 or Cleanroom 250 models offer the advanced technology, special features and certification to help provide reliable long-term protection against infectious airborne microorganisms. The unique advanced features of the IQAir® Cleanroom Series for airborne infection control are:
   

• Anti-microbial pre-filter media
  The anti-microbial properties ensure that the pre-filter doesn’t support growth of captured microorganisms.
• Anti-microbial HyperHEPA®-filter media
  The anti-microbial properties ensure that the HyperHEPA®-filter doesn’t support growth of captured microorganisms.
• Special anti-tampering cable lock
  This special feature prevents the system becoming disconnected accidentally.
• Special anti-tampering arm lock
  This special feature prevents accidental opening or unauthorised tampering with the system.
• Higher guaranteed removal efficiency of HyperHEPA® filter (Class H13, instead of Class H12/13).
  This class H13 HyperHEPA® filter ensures that even the tiniest viruses, bacteria and mould spores known to mankind are filtered with an absolute minimum efficiency of 99.95%.
• Individually tested and certified HyperHEPA® replacement filters
  This feature ensures continuance of the certified filtration efficiency even after filter replacement.
• Larger HyperHEPA® filter surface (ca. 4.1 m2, instead of 3.7 m2)
  Larger filter surface means more filtration capacity, thus longer filter life and fewer filter changes. This feature is particularly useful when the systems are required for 24-hour non-stop use.
• Larger Pre-filter surface (ca. 4.1 m2, instead of 2.3 m2) (only applies to IQAir® Cleanroom H13 model).
